WayPointMaster is an offline marine GPS instrument for iPhone. This policy describes what the app does with information on your device. It is not legal advice.

We do not run a backend The app does not have our servers, accounts, analytics, advertising, or crash reporters. We do not receive your location, waypoints, tracks, or files. Nothing is sold or used for tracking across apps or websites.

Location WayPointMaster uses GPS (precise location) on the device to show course and speed, mark waypoints, navigate, and record tracks. Location stays on the phone unless you yourself export or share a GPX file.

On first use the app asks for When In Use access. That is enough while the app is open.

Always / background location is optional. You turn it on in Settings → GPS → Background GPS. It is used only to keep a live fix and continue a track when the app is not in the foreground. iOS shows the system location indicator while this is on. You can disable it in the app or in iOS Settings.

If you deny location, the instrument cannot show a live position. The app does not send location to us in either case.

Data stored on the device • Waypoints, tracks, and GPX files you create or import • Settings (units, language, display, GPS options) • Local purchase/trial flags so extra features stay unlocked after you buy

This data is in the app sandbox. Deleting the app deletes it, unless you previously exported files via Share.

Purchases The optional Lifetime unlock (GPX import and background GPS) is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment details are handled by Apple, not by us. Restore Purchases uses Apple’s StoreKit.

Sharing If you use Share or Files to export GPX, you choose the destination. We do not upload those files.

Children The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
